Rialto Eats

Our foodie friend The Erns Lab Project took over La Michoacana Bloomington to try out some treats.

Korean students try Manzana Loca for the first time at La Michoacana Bloomington One of my favorites so it was fun to watch. I barely had one for the first time last year. Have you had one yet??

Thank you to our guests for trying Mexican treats for the first time. In this video they try Tostilocos which is made with Tostitos chips, mango, jicama, tamarindo candy, pig skin, chamoy, lime juice and a few other things. This was filmed at La Michoacana in Bloomington , California.

Ono Hawaiian BBQ Opens 2nd Rialto Location

On Friday March 15th Ono Hawaiian BBQ opened its doors to a 2nd location in the city of Rialto in the brand-new Renaissance Marketplace. Ono Hawaiian BBQ opened their 1st location in South Rialto in the new Super Walmart Shopping Center and now operates restaurants at the North and South end of town.

The Grand opening had a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony, Hula Dancers and fifty $100 gift cards on the spot for people who came out to celebrate the grand opening. Restaurant patrons waiting in line were treated to colorful leis to wear as they waited to enter the newest dining spot to open in the brand-new Renaissance Marketplace.

Another treat for guests on grand opening day was a buy one get one free offer! About an hour before the grand opening and ribbon cutting there was already a line wrapped around the building of people looking to try some Hawaiian BBQ. One popular item that is hard to find here in Rialto is the Grilled Mahi Mahi that Ono Hawaiian BBQ has on their menu.

Development Serivices Director Robb Steel was in attendance and excited to see such a buzz from the residents for each and every grand opening in the new center. “You expect a big draw from places like Chick-Fil-A and the movie theatre but the residents really seem excited to see everything coming into this new development”. Robb Steel ordered the Aloha Plate with Teriyaki Chicken these are popular and affordable options that allow you to pick one or two items with Steamed Rice + Fresh Mix Salad with our house made dressing.

Ono Hawaiian BBQ offers phone ordering for those looking to grab their food and run. To see their menu and how to order by phone go to http://www.onohawaiianbbq.com

Rialto Welcomes Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf

After years of trying Rialto finally has a coffee bean and tea leaf!!!!

This corporate business expansion was supposed to happen along with the In and Out burger but poor planning by developer and the city made that an impossible task. Thankfully the opposite corner from the In and Out was open and with some maneuvering and leveraging by the city the Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf found a home.

This location is far from perfect especially with all of the poorly planned traffic controls making it virtually impossible to get in and get out of this corner lot. Don’t get us wrong people love having this coffee chain giant in the city they just wish it wasn’t like playing with a rubix cube trying to get out of there.

The staff are super cool and really liked us making our video (see above).
