Rialto police to conduct DUI holiday patrols

The Rialto Police Deaprtment will conduct DUI saturation patrols for Cinco de Mayo weekend, according to a police news release.

Officers will look for motorists who show signs of alcohol and/or drug impairment. Anyone suspected of driving under the influence will be given a field sobriety test and arrested if that test proves you are impaired.

Funding for the operation is provded through a grant from the California Office of Traffic Safety, through the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.
