Come out to this month’s coffee with a chief. This month it will be located at Carrows Restaurant on Baseline Ave.
I have found this event as a great way to connect with Rialto’s Top Cop and learn what’s going on within the confines of police work in Rialto.
Chief Tony Farrar has worked tirelessly to put together programs that help his police make Rialto a place to learn, live, work and play. Command staff that normally attends these meetings is Cap. Deanda, Lt. Karol and Community Liaison Officer Cpl. Neilson.
If you have a desire to know what’s going on you should attend.
If you have questions regarding Rialto’s Law Enforcement you should attend.
If you live, work, own a business or rental property you should attend.
See the Image below for details and we will see you there.

What you read below cuts to the very nature of the problems plaguing our society. Our legislators refuse to listen to the fact that the people who commit these horrible crimes have reverence for OUR LAWS. The moment they pull the trigger they show you that.
As a Security Officer I went through a training academy like no other. Its purpose was to train and prepare us for any type of work that we may come across. One of the largest portions of this 3 week training was Campus Security. There are 3 versions of the Surveillance footage from the Columbine shooting massacre.
- Is complete roll of footage nothing cut out it shows everything – This is meant for Sworn Law Enforcement.
- Slightly edited but shows the way an active shooter would move about a campus it shows people pleading for their lives and hiding looking for cover – This is meant for school Security and Public Safety personnel.
- Then there is the footage for the media it is scrubbed of anything inside the school just outer images but it still makes your skin crawl.
Reading this transcript of Mr. Darrell Scott a father of a dead daughter and traumatized grieving son addressing the House Judiciary Committee’s subcommittee, I feel moved and saddened. Moved because this father refused to allow evil elected officials with dirty agendas to pressure him into a failed sense of decorum our elected officials deserve no more respect than any other man or woman. Sad because even though these were the most moving words I have ever read our elected officials and the lame mainstream media clearly gave this moment little to no airtime.

Your laws ignore our deepest needs,
Your words are empty air.
You’ve stripped away our heritage,
You’ve outlawed simple prayer.
Now gunshots fill our classrooms,
And precious children die.
You seek for answers everywhere,
And ask the question “Why?”
You regulate restrictive laws,
Through legislative creed.
And yet you fail to understand,
That God is what we need!

Rialto Police Department is holding a Golf Clinic. This clinic is with a Cop & a Former Golf Pro.
It’s a great opportunity to get our youth involved while allowing them to learn that our Police Officers are not always there to arrest but to help people and make Rialto a great place to live.
Events like these remind me of when I was a kid and the Police and Fire would hand out baseball cards with their info on it. They would sign them give you a thumbs up as driving by or stop by the park to say hello to the community and kids.
Even though budget reductions have changed how our Public Safety officials reach out to the public I’m glad they still look for ways to reach out.
Let’s get our Children invovled!
